HypNoGoG is
unique in being a jam-band that is also heavy with a stoner/doom
vibe. What you hear is live improvisation in the studio with little or no overdubs.. The twilight stage between awake & asleep is known as the hypnogog - the state of intermediate consciousness. This is where the songs come from collectively.

Octave fuzz and plenty of swagger. Solid, surprising, catchy and replayable. Addendum: Ive replayed this many times now and each song becomes my favourite when it comes on now...Then the album is over far too quickly and I'm singing along with more and more of it and that's the best sign isn't it? A truly consistent, infectious listen. 🤘🤘

I came onto Brunt through their latest album Ataraxy. I play it so much that I wanted more of Brunt. Blackbeard doesn't disappoint, it's as good! No favourite track, I always play the whole album every time.
